SYLAW's mission is to eradicate the civil legal barriers that homeless youth and youth at-risk of homelessness face which prevent them from becoming self-sufficient.

SYLAW provides information and education to homeless and at-risk youth in the areas housing, education, employment, family law, consumer law, and public entitlements.

SYLAW's intake is currently closed and we are not accepting new referrals/cases. We hope to begin accepting referrals in June 2016 through our new partnership with Legal Counsel for Youth and Children (LCYC).
Please visit LCYC's website for more info.

If you are in need of legal assistance, you can call 211 if you are located in King County (Monday - Friday; 8am - 6pm) or CLEAR at 1-888-201-1014 if you are outside of King County (Monday - Friday, 9:15 am - 12:15 pm).
