SYLAW's mission is to eradicate the civil legal barriers that homeless youth and youth at-risk of homelessness face which prevent them from becoming self-sufficient.

SYLAW provides information and education to homeless and at-risk youth in the areas housing, education, employment, family law, consumer law, and public entitlements.

If you are 13-25 years old and need legal help, visit one of our Drop-Ins.

Do you have a juvenile record and has it been 2-5 years since your last conviction? Seal your juvenile record today! Sealing your record allows you to legally check the "No" box when asked on an application whether you have a criminal record.

*** SYLAW is currently without paid staff and is a volunteer-run program. Please read the information on this website carefully so we can best direct you. ***

SYLAW would like to thank the many volunteers, donors, foundations, and partner organizations whose continued support make the fulfilment of our mission possible.
